The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college is instrumental in maintaining the quality of teaching learning process and overall development of the institution from the very beginning of its inception. IQAC conducts regular meeting to examine various aspects of teaching learning process and all-round development of the college. IQAC in collaboration with various departments has regularly organised seminars/ Webinars of which seminar on Intellectual Property Right, held on14.12.2022 and Gender Studies, held on 05.11.2022 need to be specially mentioned. IQAC has introduced structured feedback system in the college from the session 2018-19. Regular analysis of feedback is done and the same is reported to the Principal for further action. A number of add-on/certificate courses has been introduced by the IQAC as supplementary programme to the basic curriculum framework. From the session 2018-19 till date as many as 16 such courses have been completed. Participation of students in these courses is quite satisfactory. IQAC has always been functional to maintain a green campus and plantation has been done throughout the campus. Not only that a flower garden and a medicinal plant garden has also been set up within the campus. In modern educational System, mentor-mentee framework is the backbone of teaching-learning process. In collaboration with the academic committee IQAC has established mentor-mentee system in the college. It helped a lot to solve any problem arising in regular college hours. IQAC paved the way for installation of CCTV camera at some places of strategic importance within the campus. IQAC resolved to introduce automation of the college library and new software has been installed from the session 2022-23. IQAC has introduced Academic Audit and Green Audit from the session 2020-21 and the same will be followed in coming years. IQAC has always looked forward for collaborative exchange with other institutions. Faculty exchange programmes has been done under the umbrella of MoU signed between Acharya Sukumar Sen Mahavidyalaya and various higher educational institutes. Alumni Association is one of the foundation stone of the academic institute. In our college, an alumni association existed since 2019 but it was not registered. The association was registered in the year 2023 by the active initiatives of the IQAC.
